ZELOTES MOUSE USB OVERDRIVE FULL
I also have old eyes, so I can't use it at its native resolution in day-to-day activities like web browsing - but WoW would always give me the option to play at full res AND at a higher frequency. I have a very high resolution monitor (Dell, 2560x1440 with GSync). It's again due to the loss of true fullscreen. I just determined what was causing my FPS loss and also motion sickness (lucky me is very susceptible, and if the graphics aren't just right I get sick).

"I don't want to and it fits my hand exactly" is a perfectly fine answer to that question. So as I said it simply wasn't clear to me what exactly was it about this mouse that made it irreplaceable.

One of the reasons I settled on the MMO TE is that all 20 buttons work directly in WoW without needing any extra software or drivers.

Nor is it that difficult or expensive to get one that does have driver support or even one that doesn't need it. People being not willing or able to shell out hundreds or thousands of dollars for a new system/GPU/CPU/whatever, is a pretty clear and obvious reason not to do something, but mice aren't nearly that expensive for the most part. So I'm not unsympathetic to your attachment, but I've also got few compunctions about picking up something new or different if it might work better.

However the company went out of business something like 2 yrs ago (apparently they are back to some degree, but I'm not seeing much of anything new from them).Īs a result of hunting for backups/bargains on them I have a stockpile of something like 20 of them (I can be hard on my mice in wow). I've been through and tried most of the MMO gaming mice out there, but finally settled on the MacCatz MMO TE and really don't want to have to play without one. If they don't undo what they've done, I'm gone. And there is also the deformed right arm issue, meaning wrist angle and thus button placement is rather important to me (I have tiny hands too). Too many conflicts and having to rely on it being updated just to play the game is not exactly something I enjoy dealing with.Īs for the mouse, why should I have to go out and buy another mouse just to play WoW? That's asinine and you know it. 08:24 AMPosted by AkainakaliIf you use bartender4, there was at least one person who said it enabled them to move things back to their old positions.

06:27 PMPosted by GryphonmdAre you using a third-party mouse driver for your per-game-varying accelerations? I haven't noticed mine changing since the update but I tend to have very little acceleration anyway so it's possible I am not noticing any changes. Better just to leave it all behind than suffer constant nervous breakdowns because every time I need to access a specific part of the UI I'm fighting myself and the new layout.Īnd I'd lay a sweet ten spot right now that Blizzard wouldn't dare do this to Overwatch users. It's too much stress and screwing with stuff ingrained into me for fifteen years. So it looks like I'm going back to console gaming and leaving WoW behind. Apple doesn't care, and at this point it seems Blizzard doesn't care either. Because of that, many OS X users on real Macs will suffer greatly with loss of framerate. That's all broken with the loss of fullscreen.Īnd any windowed mode means OS X will be rendering everything in addition to the game itself. Additionally I had to set up the DPI settings in Windows, save them to NVRAM in the mouse, then use them in OS X in concert with USB Overdrive to achieve a usable curve for playing WoW/D3. Logitech's software doesn't recognize the G9x mouse in OS X. I'm using USB Overdrive for my mouse and playstation controller (both of which I use for WoW).
